Getting started
Try a bundled original sample without creating an account.
Use the file picker or share an authorized file from another app. Protected bookstore files cannot be decrypted.
Return to saved reading positions and export a backup before uninstalling or changing devices.
Download Sonnet for Android from Google Play or for iPhone and iPad from the App Store using the links on this page.
Sonnet includes EPUB, PDF, TXT, HTML, Markdown, FB2, unprotected MOBI/AZW/AZW3, CBZ/CBR comics, self-contained DjVu and MP3/M4A/M4B audio. Complex layouts, archive variants and device decoders have compatibility limits. Protected bookstore files and encrypted comic archives are unsupported.
Sonnet does not operate a book-upload or synchronization service. Sharing files or backups uses the destination you choose. Advertising, usage analytics and crash reporting can use an internet connection.
Local reading requires no Sonnet account. A cloud file provider may need internet to download a file before import. Ads, usage analytics and crash reporting are separate from local reading.
No. Sonnet does not remove bookstore DRM. A password-protected PDF can be opened when you supply its password.
Send the app and OS version, device model, file format, approximate file size and steps to reproduce. Retain the original and a backup. Remove private content from screenshots; do not email books or passwords unless you deliberately choose to share appropriate material.
